적응 효과

동일하거나 매우 유사한 언어 자료를 반복적으로 구두로 읽음으로써 말더듬 행동의 빈도 및/또는 심각도가 일시적으로 감소하는 것입니다. 적응은 때때로 동일한 단락을 연속적으로 읽는 동안 관찰된 말더듬 빈도의 측면에서 측정됩니다. 말더듬 빈도의 감소 외에도, 종종 관련 노력(긴장-투쟁)과 말더듬 순간의 지속 시간도 동시에 감소합니다.

A temporary reduction in the frequency and/or severity of stuttering behaviors resulting from repeated oral readings of the same or highly similar verbal material. Adaptation is sometimes measured in terms of the observed frequency of stuttering during successive readings of the same passage. In addition to a reduction in the frequency of stuttering there is often a concomitant reduction in associated effort (tension-struggle) and duration of moments of stuttering.
