언어-치료사 (언어 병리사)

조음, 목소리, 언어 및 유창성 장애의 평가, 예방 및 치료에 전문적으로 교육받은 사람입니다. 언어 교정사, 언어 치료사 및 언어 임상가와 같은 용어가 자주 사용되지만, 미국 언어-청각 협회는 언어 병리사(Speech-Language Pathologist)라는 용어 사용을 선호합니다. 학업 요건에는 석사 학위와 정규 학업 과정 이수 후 감독 하의 임상 펠로우십 연도 완료, 그리고 국가 시험 합격이 포함됩니다.

A person professionally educated in the assessment, prevention and treatment of disorders of articulation, voice, language and fluency. Although terms such as speech correctionist, speech therapist and speech clinician are frequently used, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association prefers use of the term Speech-Language Pathologist. Academic requirements include a master’s degree and the completion of the supervised clinical fellowship year following formal academic course work, and passing a national examination.
