객관적 태도

말더듬이가 자신의 말더듬에 대해 가지는 것이 바람직한 태도를 나타냅니다. 개인적인 편견이나 불안감과는 비교적 독립적이며 수치심이나 당혹감으로 왜곡되지 않은 느낌입니다. 자신의 말더듬을 저주라기보다는 문제로 받아들이는 것입니다.

Referring to the attitude that it is desirable for the stutterer to have toward his stuttering; a feeling relatively independent of one’s personal prejudices or apprehensions and not distorted by shame or embarrassment; the acceptance of his stuttering as a problem rather than a curse.
